Consultant, Vitreoretinal Surgeon
Dr Ahmed AlMarzouqi graduated from the United Arab University in 2010, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. Following that, he traveled to Munich, Germany, to complete his ophthalmology residency in the Eye Clinic, Ludwig Maximillian University.
Dr AlMarzouqi obtained his German ophthalmology specialist degree ( Facharzt) and FEBO (European board in Ophthalmology) degree in years 2017/2018 to become a double certified Ophthalmologist.
Dr AlMarzouqi then joined the Eye clinic in Technical University, Munich, to complete his fellowship program in Vitreoretinal surgeries. He also worked there as a senior specialist dealing with a variety of medical and surgical retinal cases.
He returned to the UAE in 2020 to join the retinal team as a consultant in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. In addition to his position in Tawam hospital, he is also engaged in private practice, serving in North American Lasik and eye surgery center.
